Injuries are getting out of hand in the NBA and something needs to be done.
“Orlando guard Devin Cannady was stretchered off the court Sunday afternoon after suffering a brutal ankle injury in the Magic’s 131-112 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Cannady went up to defend a layup attempt from guard Edmond Sumner late in the first quarter at the Amway Center before landing awkwardly on his right leg, which buckled and sent him to the floor in pain,” per Yahoo Sports.
It’s never great to see certain NBA players who are elite or average suffer gruesome injuries.
Cannady went to Twitter and stated he’s in “God’s Hands.”
But, the good news?? The 24-year-old baller spoke with his teammates and is in “good spirits” after the gruesome incident.
