Last year, Deion Sanders took over as head coach of Jackson State. Their team finally kicked off their season this past spring, as they finished 4-3. Last week, Deion also made headlines, after leaving a SWAC media day session, after a reporter called him by his first name, instead of Coach, or Coach Sanders.
Mow, Deion’s son, Shedeur, who plays QB at Jackson State, is coming out about how the offense is going to win games. He claims that if the offense shines in practice against their defense, they feel really confident that they’ll get the W on game day as well. Shedeur even thinks they’ll get blowout wins in the process.
“It equates to a blowout,” Shedeur said. “You’ve got to understand we not … y’all don’t really understand, like, it’s players that have different caliber of talent that all came to JSU.
Shedeur even took some shots at other SWAC teams, as he feels that they themselves are more talented, and they all went to JSU on their own.
“So it’s like when you compare us to a regular SWAC team, a different SWAC team, the best, like, you’ve got to understand we didn’t come here because we had to. We came here because we chose to. It’s a difference.”
