Kwame Brown Calls Out Stephen Jackson For Supporting Rachel Nichols and Saying Black People Should Stop Complaining About Lack of Opportunities

Stephen Jackson started off in strong support for Maria Taylor but did a 180 real quick after speaking with Rachel Nichols.

Since that point, he has been blaming black people for everything that is going on. I don’t think anyone would argue the point about Nichols being upset about being pulled from something she says that was in her contract for her to do, the problem is when you insert race into the equation.

Regardless of what was ESPN’s motives, she was saying that she is all for diversity as long as it doesn’t affect her position.

That is a common theme among white people and that is what she was being called out for.  ESPN just cares about money and ratings, so they would have no issues pitting their own employees against each other.

Two of the defenses for Nichols are that she was being secretly taped and the other being that in private we all say things that we don’t want to be made public.

The first one is valid, let me explain why the second one not so much.

If you are saying horrible things in private it doesn’t change they are horrible. If you say you hate all black people in private and then that becomes public does it lessen your thoughts because they weren’t kept private?

Nichols apologized and Stak is still standing by black people shouldn’t blame white people for lack of opportunities because of rappers.

While all this is happening Kwame Brown has chimed in and gave a breakdown of what he thinks happened with Stak.

It is a must-watch.

Is this all part of the go-along-get-along game?

I can’t tell you, but what I can tell you is that media is a dirty game and people will do whatever it takes to keep their spot.

ESPN trotted out Kendrick Perkins and Richard Jefferson to support Nichols today.
