The drama between Brittany Renner and PJ Washington has died down this week after Washington finally saw his son, so he stopped crying about it on social media.
If you want to know why Washington is hesitant to take Renner to court, I have an exclusive article on the BSO Substack that really explains what his hesitation is in doing so.
I would say it is about a 70-30 split on social media on who is to blame for Washington’s situation.
Many people believe that Renner targeted Washington from the time he was a freshman, trapped him with a baby, and now plans to go after his pockets. Another faction believes that there is no way that Washington could not have known about Renner’s reputation (she did write a whole book about it) and has no one to blame for this situation but himself.
Renner herself has been pretty tight-lipped about the situation.
She is doing the Eminem from “8 Mile” defense where no matter what people say about her, she just points out everyone knew that already so you aren’t hurting her feelings by saying it to the world.
What she did today, though, was interesting.
In between working out to get her post-baby body back, she posted on her IG about toxic relationships.
She is implying that Washington is really the toxic one, not her and that she shouldn’t have ignored the red flags early in their relationship.
No one knows what was going on in their household, which is why I always say you have to be careful assuming you know about an athlete or entertainer’s love life just by what they put on social media. Everyone puts the best version of themselves and their relationship on social media, it isn’t real, and you have no idea what is happening behind the scenes.
It appears while on the surface, Renner and Washington looked like a happy couple, trouble was brewing from the start.
Flip the pages for what Renner had to say and the workout videos if you are just here for that.
