Last December, Brooklyn rapper, Casanova, turned himself into feds, after being hit with a massive RICO case. He was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit racketeering, one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, and one count of possession of a firearm for drug-trafficking. Casanova faces life in prison if convicted.
Documents stated that Casanova and 17 others have been part of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang. They were said to have “committed murder, shootings, robberies, and assaults against their rivals and against fellow members of Gorilla Stone.”
Now, an associate of Casanova, Shantay Outlaw, has reached a plea deal, according to AllHipHop.com, Outlaw reportedly was caught via wiretaps, and she created a fake non-profit organization, named D.A. E.M.P.I.R.E. )Determined Adults Exceedingly Motivating Peers Into Responsible Entrepreneurs.) She was responsible for financing everything for Gorilla Gang.
Outlaw created this organization is order to filter grants to members of Gorilla Stone Nation. She also filed fraudulent unemployment applications.
As of now, two other members have copped plea deals as well. Outlaw is set to enter her guilty plea on September 13, at 2:30pm. Jordan “Flow” Ingram wants a mandatory minimum of 22 years, as he’s being hit with assault charges and having a crack distribution operation. Stephen “Chino” Hugh reached a plea deal, after he shot at rival gang members last July, in New Rochelle, NY. Casanova is pleading not guilty to intentionally manufacturing, distributing, and dispensing crack cocaine, cocaine and marijuana.
