BSO was the first to report that Raiders DB Damon Arnette was on Instagram flashing guns and threatening to kill a man who was trolling in his DMs.
The video and the news went viral after that.
What in the world is going on with the Raiders this year?
First, they had the whole racist, sexists, and homophobic emails from then head coach John Gruden release, which he and the team had to agree to part ways because of that.
Then things seemed to be getting back to normal, and then the tragic Henry Ruggs story broke. He was driving 156 mph while drunk and got into an accident that resulted in the death of a young lady and her dog. He’s being charged with six felonies and faces up to 46 years in prison.
What now? CB Damon Arnette, who is currently being sued for injuring a woman in a car accident, was on IG waiving guns and threatening to kill someone.
On top that, Arnette is being sued for leaving the scene of an accident.
Arnette admitted to the hit and run. He said he left the scene because he late for a meeting at the Raiders facility.
A lawsuit alleges Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Damon Arnette left the scene after hitting another car in Henderson last year, a collision that caused serious injuries to the other driver.
The suit claims Arnette crashed into Yaneth Casique’s car the morning of Oct. 14, 2020, on St. Rose Parkway near Bermuda Road.
The complaint was filed this past October, about a month before former Raiders receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a deadly crash.
“Later defendant Damon Arnette was located and confronted at Raiders Headquarters when he admitted he was the operator of the vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the vehicle operated by plaintiff Yaneth Coromoto Casique,” the suit claims.
BSO can now report that the Raiders have released Damon Arnette, just days after releasing Henry Ruggs III who was going 156 MPH when he killed Tina Tintor and her dog Rex in car crash.
