Gervonta “Tank” Davis Says He’ll Beat Up Ryan Garcia and Oscar De La Hoya

Ryan Garcia has been calling out Tank Davis for a while now, but his words for the champ became a bit louder.

Following Tank Davis’s fight against a scrappy Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz, Garcia called out Gervonta yet again, this time saying the champ almost lost his title to Cruz and reiterated how eager he is about fighting him. Garcia (21-0, 18 Kos) also called out Mayweather Promotions for matching Tank up with ‘C-level fighters’ rather than A-class fighters.

“Gervonta gets away with fighting c level fighters, out of all the lightweights he’s the weakest!!! His toughest test was Leo Santa Cruz, almost lost tonight bring it on I’ve been calling you out for awhile.”

Tank did have a tough fight, and while some saw it as a draw, most agreed with the judges that Tank won a close and competitive fight.

We all know Luke Campbell is better than all of Tank’s opposition. Tank can’t beat me he knows that and Mayweather knows that. I’m too fast and I got too much accuracy, cmon Mayweather you can’t protect him forever,” Ryan Garcia said. “He said it’s easy work. Well, then it should be easy to run it. You can’t and will not do s*** we all seen that today. You almost lost and they set that up so you look good.”

Many believe Tank Davis squeaked by as Cruz had him on the ropes and buzzed Davis in the 10th round and was forced to fight for his survival in the final two rounds because his hand was injured.

Many boxing fans want Tank to fight bigger names in 2022, but we shall see.
With that being said, at least Tank is fighting, whereas Ryan has done much of his fighting this year on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Devin Haney has beaten two opponents (Linares and Diaz), who Garcia was supposed to face.
