Halle Berry couldn’t hide her joys after her debut movie “Bruised” became Netflix’s number one film of the week. Overly excited, Halle hopped on Instagram and dropped a video of her dancing and showing off her curves.
On Instagram, she wrote:
“when you find out the night before that your film is #1 in the U.S. and #2 globally and you start dranking to celebrate … this is bound to happen. #tipsy #bruisedsoundtrack“.
Via The Daily Mail:
Halle highlighted her age-defying figure in a sheer black bustier and black flared pants that completely swallowed up her shoes.
She wore her dark locks tied up in a playfully messy bun with her bangs swept to the sides to frame her face.
The X-Men actress languorously gyrated her hips while raising her arms in the air as she showed off an ecstatic expression on her face.
She had what looked like a champagne flute in one hand to help celebrate her impressive success.
Fittingly, Halle rocked out to H.E.R.’s song Automatic Woman, which was featured on the soundtrack album for the film.
Bruised was number one in 21 countries and was reportedly streamed for a stunning 47.7 million hours by subscribers.
If you are curious about what the movie is about.
Bruised is a 2020 sports drama film directed by Halle Berry (in her directorial debut), from a screenplay by Michelle Rosenfarb. It stars Berry, Shamier Anderson, Adan Canto, Sheila Atim, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. The film had its world premiere at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2020. It was given a limited theatrical release on November 17, 2021, prior to streaming on Netflix on November 24. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who praised Berry’s commitment as a director and actor but criticised the screenplay, and inconsistent tone of the film. Following its release, viewership on Netflix generated a multipicture-deal for Berry.
