Once a teacher always a teacher! According to online records from the Arizona Department of Corrections database, Brittany Zamora, who is serving a 20-year jail term for having sex with a 13-year-old student spent time tutoring fellow inmates behind bars.
According to records, 30-year-old Brittany was assigned as a tutor/educator between September 17 and October 14. Via NYPost:
The depraved ex-elementary school teacher assisted education staff at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Perryville, but only in supervised group settings, the DOC said in a statement to Law & Crime, which first reported the assignment.
“Inmate Zamora assisted the education staff in teaching the inmate students, in a group setting. She was directly supervised while working at all times by educational instructors, and the classrooms are routinely checked and monitored by Security staff, COII’s and/or supervisors,” the DOC said. “The education classrooms are also under video surveillance at all times and monitored by security staff.”
According to the DOC, Zamora requested the work assignment and was cleared following a protocol screening process. She was found to meet the requirements for the position because she had no disciplinary issues during her incarceration, the agency said.
Zamora was arrested in March 2018 and accused of molesting her sixth-grade student. The victim told investigators that he and the married 27-year-old teacher had sex several times in her car and classroom.
She pleaded guilty to sexual conduct with a minor and reduced charges of molestation of a child and public sexual indecency, and was sentenced in July 2019.
Brittany couldn’t be useful while teaching these kids and it’s all good since she’s now being useful behind bars and I hope she gets transformed after her jail term. You have to wonder though what she is doing with those inmates after class?

The former Arizona teacher has now also filed for divorce against her husband, Daniel, less than a year into her sentence, relinquishing her rights to the family home and shared properties.
In the divorce documents, she wrote that “our marriage is broken beyond repair (“irretrievably broken”) and there is no hope of reconciliation.”
The pair had been together since they were 16 and he remained completely loyal to her throughout the prosecution.
