On some off-the-field news, Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock has popped the question to his girlfriend Natalie Newman at a beach and she said YES! Congratulations to the couple!
Overly-excited Natalie Newman posted photos of the proposal to her Instagram page and wrote:
“Yesterday I said YES to the love of my entire life!!! š¤
Iām so thankful God created a path for us to walk side by side in for the rest of our lives. Drew, you are, you have been, and you will always be the greatest love I could ever dream of!!š„°
& aside from it being the most amazing day surrounded by friends & family, it was another day I got to spend with you & that is what truly makes my heart so fullš¤ I LOVE YOU FIANCĆ !!!! š”.
Drew Lock himself has yet to comment on the engagement but he is probably focused on if he is going to be the starting QB of the Broncos.
Drew Lock closed out the 2021 season as the Broncosā starting quarterback, but there arenāt many people who think heāll be the choice for that job in 2022.
Lockās had multiple chances to lock up the job since joining the team as a 2019 second-round pick without doing so and thatās led to assumptions that the team will find someone else to run the offense for new head coach Nathaniel Hackett and offensive coordinator Justin Outten. For now, though, Lock is one of two quarterbacks under contract for next season and that means Outten fielded questions about him at a Tuesday press conference.
āHeās got a powerful arm, heās done a really good job as far as using his legs as far as being an athlete . . . I want to see how he fits in this system a little more when he gets the playbook under him and weāll go from there,ā Outten said, via Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com.
