OSU Recruit Jamier Brown Says Schools Used Women To Get Him To Commit To Their School

Five-star wide receiver commit Jamier Brown recently revealed that some schools got incredibly creative while trying to convince him to commit. And by “creative,” we mean apparently using women as part of their recruiting pitch.

Apparently, giant stadiums, elite coaching staffs, national television exposure, and lucrative NIL deals were not enough.

Speaking with Endzone Exposure on June 13, Brown was asked about the craziest NIL offer he had received during his recruitment process. His answer immediately grabbed attention across the college football world.

According to Brown, some schools attempted to use women as part of their efforts to get him on campus and eventually sign with their program.

“A couple schools have offered a couple females out for me to commit to that school,” Brown said.

Brown was not the only one claiming that athletes are being offered the company of women.

“Every week they have like girls calling me and Facetiming me, stuff like that,” said Notre Dame four-star cornerback recruit Ace Alston.

In the end, Brown chose Ohio State, proving that whatever these schools were trying apparently didn’t work.

The Buckeyes landed one of the country’s most talented prospects without needing reality-show tactics.

At least that’s what we know.

After Brown’s comments, college football fans are probably wondering what other recruiting stories are still sitting in the vault waiting to be revealed.

And honestly, at this point, nobody would be surprised by anything.
