The amount of money the Cowboys paid to four cheerleaders who were recorded by the team’s longtime PR Director Rich Dalrymple while undressing in the locker room has been revealed and according to reports, the four cheerleaders were paid a whopping $2.4 million.
Also, a fan “accused him of taking upskirt photos of team owner Jerry Jones’s daughter”. There is more from the Daily Mail:
The Dallas Cowboys reportedly paid $2.4 million to four members of the team’s cheerleading squad who accused a longtime team executive of watching them undress in a locker room during a 2015 event at AT&T Stadium.
Rich Dalrymple, the Cowboys’ then-senior vice president for public relations and communications, is also separately accused of taking upskirt photos of owner Jerry Jones’ daughter, Charlotte Jones Anderson, 55, at a game in the same year.
In the locker room incident, Dalrymple stood behind a partial wall in the locker room with his iPhone extended toward the cheerleaders while they were changing, ESPN reported.
Dalrymple later told team officials he did not know the women were there and left immediately.
A signed copy of the May 2016 settlement agreement that was obtained by ESPN includes a nondisclosure agreement in which the four women, three of their spouses and Cowboys officials agreed to never speak publicly about the allegations.
Each of the women received $399,523, the network reported, citing documents and unidentified people as sources, according to ESPN.
Dalrymple was also accused of taking inappropriate photographs of Charlotte Jones Anderson, the team’s senior vice president and daughter of famed owner Jerry Jones.
According to documents obtained by ESPN, Dalrymple took ‘upskirt’ photos of Anderson and was seen doing so by a ‘lifelong Cowboys fan’ watching a live satellite feed from the team’s headquarters during the 2015 NFL Draft.
This is unacceptable. Dalrymple, in the face of evidence, issued a statement and denied the allegations leveled against him.
‘People who know me, co-workers, the media and colleagues, know who I am and what I’m about,’ Dalrymple said. ‘I understand the very serious nature of these claims and do not take them lightly. The accusations are, however, false.’
‘The organization took these allegations extremely seriously and moved immediately to thoroughly investigate this matter,’ Wilkinson said. ‘The investigation was handled consistent with best legal and HR practices and the investigation found no evidence of wrongdoing.’
