Floyd Mayweather has reacted to Logan Paul’s claim that he still owes him money from their much-publicized fight during an exclusive sit-down interview on the latest episode of “The Pivot Podcast.”
And here is what Floyd Mayweather said about Logan Paul’s claim that he still owes him money from the fight as reported by Boxing Scene:
“This comes with the territory,” said Mayweather. “To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while. Nothing comes right away.
I’m still collecting checks from fights seven or eight years ago. They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life.”
Mayweather also talked about her daughter Yaya Mayweather and rapper NBA YoungBoy welcoming a baby boy and making him a grandfather.
“I’m proud of my daughter and NBA YoungBoy. I look at him like one of my sons. I only want the best for him. These kids beef nowadays and they don’t know what they’re beefing for. These young rappers are dying on the regular. I’m going to continue to push both of them to be great in everything they do.
“I love being with my grandson. He’s just like his mom was. All he wants to do is hold onto my leg and have me pick him up all day.”
Logan meanwhile says he will sue Mayweather if he doesn’t get his money soon. It does appear that Logan was paid a small amount upfront, and the majority of this purse was going to come from a % of the PPV buys. Mayweather and others have claimed the PPV did over a million buys which would mean Paul would be owed a lot of money if that is true.
