A Cleveland schoolteacher has been placed on leave after her sex tape was air dropped to about 200 students of Ginn Academy.
According to Vladtv, the incident happened on February 7, 2022, and here is what Ginn Academy’s authorities and Alex Hamerstone of TrustedSec Cyber Security had to say about the incident and how the boy who stole her phone could be in some serious trouble.
Police in Cleveland have launched a sex crimes investigation after they say a sex tape showing a teacher at an all-boys’ high school was sent to more than 200 students this month.
Authorities with the Cleveland Police Sex Crimes Unit said they believe a student accessed the teacher’s unlocked phone and used the AirDrop function to send the sex tape to other iPhones in the vicinity, reported Cleveland 19.
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District said the teacher has been removed from the school pending the outcome of the investigation.
The teacher is currently on paid leave.
“If somebody were to have access to an unattended phone, its fairly easy to capture someone’s passcode,” said Alex Hamerstone of TrustedSec Cyber Security. “If someone has bad intentions, the first thing they’ll do when they get access to your phone is look through your pictures, look to see if you have a private folder and see what’s in there, or look at text messages and try to find something inappropriate.”
Ken Trump, a local parent who runs a school safety consulting firm. told Fox 8 that even if the teacher did not personally send the video to students, it does not absolve her of blame.
‘It makes you feel like you have a punch in the gut, especially when you’re an authority figure and you’re a role model around children,’ he said. ‘It doesn’t matter how the video was shared. It shouldn’t have been there and accessible to kids in any form in the first place.’
I disagree with Ken. You shouldn’t blame the victim. I am sure Ken has some suspect stuff in his phone as well.
With that being said there is some disagreement on who sent out the tape. Some believe the teacher did it by accident and now is trying to blame a student. Who do you believe?
