Antonio Brown On If He Could Have Handled His Shirtless Departure From Bucs a Little Better

Antonio Brown is currently a free agent and is currently looking for to land on a new team where he can still contribute.

He would probably be back with the Buccaneers if he hadn’t walked off the field in a way only Antonio Brown could and took his jersey off and walked to the locker room shirtless.

Not the best way to leave the field while the game is going on but it was definitely some great content. How does he feel about it though? While talking to DJ Akademiks AB was asked about it and said that he probably didn’t handle it with the best maturity.

Everyone knows that Mayweather’s offer to pay a team $20 million if AB got out of line wasn’t real, PFT wanted to make sure you knew it wasn’t real.

But it’s one thing to repeat Mayweather’s cartoonish ploy and to mention that it’s not realistic, or at a minimum to not comment on whether the offer was real and/or whether it would actually prompt a team to sign Brown when it otherwise had no inclination to do so. It’s quite another thing to push headlines that take the offer seriously, and that tee up the question of whether a given team should roll the dice on Brown, given the possibility of getting $20 million on the back end.

We won’t name names or run links or otherwise call out the person(s) who seem to think an NFL team would actually sign Brown because Floyd Mayweather promised them a huge payout if the move fails. For starters, it’s highly unlikely that the league would allow a team to take the money. Even then, the offer contains just enough wiggle room to let Mayweather try to find a way out of it.

Seems like he knows that he messed up. Wonder if he’ll get another shot though.
