Seahawks DK Metcalf Spotted At Dinner With R&B Singer Normani After Skipping Out on Mandatory OTAs

DK Metcalf is going to be playing his first season without Russell Wilson and it’s going to be interesting to see if his production takes a hit. If he’s there.

OTA’s have started and he isn’t there to get acquainted with his new QBs but off the field, he may have a new lady in his life to get used to.

That lady? R&B singer Normani.

According to TotalProSports, the two were spotted out having dinner in Santa Monica this past weekend where they reportedly left together after.

Maybe they’re just friends or maybe this is the start of a new relationship. Time will tell.  While might have to start ordering take-out because the Seahawks will fine him up to $90k for missing mandatory minicamp.

According to a report by Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, D.K. Metcalf is not present at the team facility for the start of Seahawks minicamp, which begins later today.

Bob Condotta at the Seattle Times has confirmed Metcalf is not around.

Metcalf is entering the final year of his rookie deal, so it’s possible this is related to his contract situation.

Then again, Metcalf showed up for voluntary OTAs. Skipping mandatory minicamp after that would be odd.

Even still, it’s too early to panic about Metcalf’s contract. It’s in the team’s best interest to sign him to a lucrative long-term deal and we believe it will eventually get done.

Metcalf’s absence wasn’t excused so the fines are going to start racking up. Like a lot of the young start wide receivers in the league, they want new contracts on par with what Davante Adams, Tyreek Hill, and AJ Brown got.

Terry Mclaurin is also sitting out of minicamps. We will see trades or extensions happen first. Your guess is as good as mine.

At least we know he has some nice dinner company.
