Ben Simmons’ fiancee Maya Jama dropped a birthday message for him, and it’s sweet! According to Side Action, Maya hopped on Instagram, posted a couple of photos of themselves, and wished Ben on his birthday.
Ben’s fiance Maya Jama took to Instagram to wish her guy a very happy birthday. She also showed a softer side to the couple. Ben turned 26 years old yesterday.
Maya recently shared some pics of the couple getting close.
As of now there’s no known wedding date for these two, but you have to figure it will be either this calendar year or 2023.
What happens first, Ben gets married or plays an NBA Game? Yea that’s a tough one.
According to ESPN;
The Nets are “wary of selling low” on Simmons since his trade value is greatly diminished after he missed all of last season due to mental health issues and a back injury.
The perception of Ben Simmons around the NBA shifted following his performance in the 2021 Eastern Conference Semifinals before it slipped with his standoff with the Philadelphia 76ers during the 21-22 season.
After Simmons was traded to the Brooklyn Nets, he was unable to play in any games and subsequently underwent back surgery.
With Simmons representing a major part of Brooklyn’s trade of James Harden, the franchise doesn’t want to trade him when his value is at its possible nadir.
“His trade value is at an all-time low,” wrote Zach Lowe. “For their part, the Nets are wary of selling low on Simmons and cannot afford to view him as mere throw-in.”
At least off the court things are going well for Ben Simmons. If Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving end up coming back to Nets, Simmons will still be needed for them to make a run at the NBA Finals.
Some people believe that Simmons will never play again.
