49ers DE Arik Armstead Accuses Lions Feel Good Story OL Dan Skipper of Calling Players N-Words

Lions OT Dan Skipper was one of the bright stories during the NFL’s Week 2 with a great story.

Skipper has been on practice squads for his whole six-year career without getting to play here and there, but he was able to get his first start Sunday in the team’s 36-27 win over the Commanders.

The whole locker room was chanting his name after the game, and he gained a lot of fans.

One guy, though, is not a fan of Skipper, and he says it’s because he’s racist. 49ers DE Arik Armstead wanted everyone to know that Skipper is a racist guy and has called multiple players a n***er, and he wanted everyone to know that it was with the hard er.

Armstead and Skipper have never played in the regular season, but they may have played each other in college, the preseason, or other players may have told Armstead.

Towering lineman Dan Skipper was the feel-good story of the NFL on Sunday, moving inside for his first career start at guard after a half-decade on practice squads and getting spot snaps. Lions coach Dan Campbell had his team chanting Skipper’s name in the locker room after a 36-27 win over the Commanders.

Skipper, who is 6-foot-9, slid over to play guard Sunday after Detroit’s interior offensive line was ravaged by injuries. He had never made an NFL start at any position, and he’s nominally a tackle. Campbell shouted out Skipper after the win, sending the Lions locker room into hysterics.

Something else might come out if it’s true, so only time will tell.

I am sure someone will ask him to present evidence of why he would say such a thing. He said it with a lot of confidence, like it was a known thing around the league. We will let you know when we have more information on the story.
