36-year-old Carmen Mousavi has been arrested and charged with domestic battery and battery for allegedly shooting her ex and his new female friend after they left the Fort Wayne, Indiana movie theater.
According to WTTF;
A woman is out of jail tonight after police say she shot her ex-boyfriend and his new female friend while they were leaving the movies early Saturday.
Fort Wayne Police charged 36-year-old Carmen Mousavi with domestic battery and battery, both with a deadly weapon.
Court documents say the victims walked out of the Regal Cinema around 1 a.m. when Mousavi confronted them and harassed her ex.
The two got in a vehicle and left but police say Mousavi followed them onto Washington Center Road.
When they stopped at the light on Dartmouth police say Mousavi fired a shot into the vehicle, grazing him in the shoulder and striking her in the chest.
Investigators say he identified the shooter as Mousavi, who was already gone when police arrived. They say they found her near her home driving a Ford F150 that matched the victims’ description.
Police say she tried to get away but was stopped during a felony traffic stop.
Fort Wayne Police managed to find Mousavi’s truck near her house. She attempted to flee from officers, but cops made a felony traffic stop, according to court documents.
Cops found a Taurus G3C 9mm semiautomatic handgun inside her truck.
Mousavi, who refused to speak to cops, was booked into Allen County Jail on Monday and is currently facing the two felony charges. She was released on monitored conditional release without bail after her initial hearing and is scheduled to appear in court again at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
How in the blue hell was she let out of jail with no bail?
That is insane. If a man did the same thing he would be looking at attempted murder charges.
