Angel Murdock is facing a very different kind of test.
The Temptation Island star has become the subject of viral accusations that she spent about 2 years presenting herself online as a student in Duke University’s physician assistant program.
There is just one problem. According to the allegations, she was never enrolled.
That is quite the plot twist.
Netflix reality show contestant and social media personality Angel Murdock represented herself as a physician assistant student. But Duke University’s School of Medicine said it has no record of her enrolling.
Allegations of her behavior recently went viral after a Reddit thread gained traction. That attention has since escalated, after a class of 2026 alumna, Kiera Brown, expanded on these claims, sharing an eight-minute video to social media that called out the former Netflix personality.
In her sit-down video, Brown claims that Murdock—who has since taken down her social media accounts, or made them private—only ever posted once inside the academic building used by the program.
That photo, according to Brown, appeared to show other students in Duke’s physical exam rooms.
“The people in the picture were from classes way above us,” Brown said, adding that she believes Murdock “found somebody’s old story post, screenshotted it, made it seem like she was in the building.”
College is already stressful. Applications, tuition, exams, group projects and Professors who somehow assign 40 pages of reading for Tuesday so fake it?
Brown and some of her classmates took notice of Murdock’s physician assistant-related content during her didactic year, the first year of the 24 month-long program.
Brown said that documentation and images of her graduating class demonstrate no evidence of Murdock having been a part of the program. She also labeled Murdock’s posts as “creepy.” The video has garnered over four million views on TikTok.
When reached for comment, Duke Health officials provided Inc. with the following statement:
“We can find no record of a student by the name of Angel Murdock having applied to or attended the Duke Physician Assistant Program. Duke created the first physician assistant program in the nation. Those who graduate from our program have earned a significant distinction.”
If you spend two years telling people you attend a prestigious medical program, eventually someone is going to ask about the homework.
And if the school says, “We have no record of you,” that is one final exam nobody wants to take.
For Murdock, the viral controversy is now bigger than any reality-TV temptation.
