According to reports, a woman was arrested outside the home of Kentucky head coach John Calipari. The woman was looking for someone else and ended up outside the home of John Calipari via TPS;
Per the Kentucky Kernel, the woman was looking for someone else and was arrested for criminal trespassing and theft of a credit card. University of Kentucky Police Chief Joe Monroe said that a mental evaluation might be underway for the woman who was caught trespassing.
“According to University of Kentucky Police Chief Joe Monroe, the woman was looking for someone who does not live at the property, and the incident is not related to Calipari or his family. The woman may be undergoing mental evaluations, Monroe said.”
The woman’s name has not been released.
Here is a little bit more about the story.
University of Kentucky police arrested a woman Tuesday for trying to enter the property of men’s basketball coach John Calipari.
University spokeswoman Blair Conner said Lexington Police were called to assist university police outside of Calipari’s residence Tuesday morning. The woman, who was arrested outside the gate, was charged with trespassing and six counts of theft of credit cards from around the country.
Officials said the woman was looking for someone who wasn’t at Calipari’s house and that the theft charges are not related to Calipari.
Conner said the call to police did not come from Calipari’s home.
Police did not provide the woman’s name and said no further details would be released.
Who was this mysterious woman? Something sounds a little fishy about this story if you ask me. What is the police or Calipari for that matter telling us?
If the theft didn’t have anything to do with Calipari, who was she stealing from?
This seems like a mystery that needs to be solved but might get swept under the rug.
