According to reports, Jaimes Allan Sutton is wanted by NSW police on an outstanding arrest warrant, and from the report, he taunted cops with masked selfie two weeks after he went on the run and his distinctive mugshot went viral.
The Daily Mail got the details;
A fugitive whose face is covered in blue tattoos spelling the word BEAST on his forehead is taunting police two weeks after they appealed for help tracking him down.
Jaimes Sutton’s unique appearance led to predictions he would be quickly arrested after police released his picture on September 28 but there have been no confirmed sightings of the wanted man.
‘I guess he’s just keeping his head down,’ a senior police source told Daily Mail Australia.
The source confirmed investigators had received ‘a lot of online feedback but nothing that was very useful to us.’
After Sutton updated his Facebook profile on Saturday to show a picture with the bottom half of his face covered one woman wrote: ‘Cops won’t even recognize ya now bra.’
Sutton, who is wanted for domestic assault and property damage, made national and eventually international headlines when the world was introduced to his forlorn face.
The 24-year-old is known to frequent the Deniliquin area near the New South Wales-Victoria border, Murray River Police District revealed in a Facebook post.
Sutton, who is listed to front Deniliquin Local Court on Tuesday but not expected to turn up, quickly became an internet sensation due to his unlikely ability to hide.
‘If only they would release some sort of a description so the public could keep an eye open and assist them,’ one social media user posted.
‘Any distinguishing features so we can tell him apart from the average Joe?’ another commenter wrote.
‘He’s with Beauty….. castles in the area need to be searched. As I’m sure she’s hiding him,’ a woman joked.
Other photographs from Sutton’s social media accounts show him with tattoos across his fingers reading ‘game’ on his right hand and ‘over’ on his left.
The search for Sutton led to thousands of comments mocking his face art and made the pages of websites and newspapers including the New York Post.
