Her life was spared in the Walmart shooting and according to her, gunman Andre Bing refused to shoot her and told her to go home. He could have also spared the lives of all the people he shot and killed.
The New York Post has details;
A Walmart employee who miraculously survived the bloodshed that left six dead said gunman Andre Bing inexplicably decided to spare her — telling her to “go home” after he slaughtered her colleagues.
Jessie Wilczewski said it was only her fifth day on the job when Bing, 31, opened fire on her and her coworkers as they sat in a break room and prepared for their shift.
“It didn’t even look real until you could feel when the gun goes off — pow, pow, pow — you can feel it,” Wilczewski told local news outlet WAVY.
“I couldn’t hear it at first because I guess it was so loud, I could feel it.”
Wilczewski said Bing was firing shots from left to right while laughing and believes the massacre was planned – and that he targeted certain Walmart managers.
While the new hire was hiding under a table, hoping to not get shot, Bing suddenly told her to stand up.
“Jessie, go home,” Bing said, according to Wilczewski.
Late Tuesday night, a group of 14 employees were inside the break room at the Chesapeake Walmart when Bing suddenly opened fire and killed six before turning the gun on himself.
The store identified him as an overnight team lead whose been with the company since 2010.
A motive in the tragedy is yet to emerge.
This is insane. I can’t even believe how she is feeling right now. On the one hand her life was spared but then knowing all the other lives were lost is a heavy burden to bear for anyone.
America is a terrible country and until the gun laws are changed nothing will change.
