Washington Commanders Owner Dan Snyder could be in trouble with the law if investigations over fraudulent dealings come out to be true. According to reports, the investigations cover his yacht party with Jerry Jones and Robert Kraft among other shady expenses.

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder is the subject of scrutiny following a lengthy expose from ESPN in which he is said to be under a federal investigation for fraudulent dealings.
Snyder is seeking up to $7 billion for the Commanders, having been forced out by the NFL. And whoever becomes the new owner remains to be seen, though there are fears he might not go through with the sale.
Having bought out his three former partners after a dispute during which he was accused of multiple misdeeds, including the receipt of a secret $55 million load, Snyder is still under fire and could be removed as the owner of the Commanders.
A letter obtained by ESPN shows the 58-year-old informing the partners of plans to reclaim over $7 million in “unreimbursed business expenses” between 2017-20. The letter also noted that Snyder wanted $1 million back for vehicle costs and extra security during trips to other countries.
Shockingly, a yacht party hosted by Snyder himself was among the business expenses being sought by the eccentric owner. The party, which took place in 2018, was attended by Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, and Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula.
“This included ‘world-class cuisine prepared by some of the top personal chefs in the world and the highest quality wine/beverages,’” the partners said as part of a petition in which they asked the NFL to remove him as owner.
They have since sold their 40 percent stake to Snyder for $875 million.
