I have some advice to share. If you happen to be wearing a Rolex after 2 am and a woman who appears to be a hooker approaches you, it is important to know that there is a 75/25 chance that she robs you. Sadly, this is a risk that one individual learned about firsthand.
On May 8, 2023, at approximately 1:10 p.m., Miami Police were dispatched to 800 block of N.E. 1 Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was robbed of over $600,000 in jewelry.
The victim stated that he arrived at his residence at approximately 5:30 a.m. with a female that he met at a local restaurant/club earlier that night. After having one drink with the female at his apartment, he fell asleep.
The victim woke up at approximately 12:00 p.m. and notice his safe open, jewelry was missing, and the female was gone. He immediately contacted police for assistance.
Surveillance footage was obtained which shows the female suspect as she arrives with the victim and when she leaves the building.

“Now sometimes you might say, ‘Oh, well she’s just leaving with a Solo cup.’ No. She’s taking the Solo cup that she drank because it has her DNA. She’s taking his Solo cup because it has not only his DNA, but it also has whatever drugs she put in,” said Officer Michael Vega, an MPD spokesman, according to WSVN.
When inviting a lady to your room, it’s crucial to prioritize your safety. Ensure that your safe is securely locked, and avoid consuming any substances such as alcohol or drugs. Keep a watchful eye on your companion throughout the encounter, and once it’s over, promptly escort her out of the premises. These precautions will safeguard your well-being.
