Larsa Pippen To Get Half of Scottie Pippen’s Retirement Checks While Trying to Have Marcus Jordan’s Baby

To be candid, this situation seems unjust.

Larsa Pippen is a busy entrepreneur, a popular reality TV personality, and co-hosts a podcast with Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan, who is also her boyfriend. Despite all her personal endeavors, she will receive half of Scottie Pippen’s retirement benefits.

Larsa Pippen has reportedly been awarded some of her ex-husband Scottie Pippen’s Chicago Bulls retirement fund.

The couple’s divorce was officially finalized in December 2021, following 24 years of marriage and four children together. They first split in 2016 before reconciling and parting ways for good in 2018.

Now, Larsa is set to reap a considerable amount of the money Pippen’s retirement account accumulate during their marriage.

The Real Housewives Of Miami star, 48, has been recognized as an ‘alternate payee’ of Scottie’s Chicago Bulls 401k Savings Plan Trust, RadarOnline reports.

The court awarded Larsa ‘fifty percent’ of whatever was in their account closet to their date of separation. The couple married July 20, 1997 and their official date of separation is recognized as November 3, 2016.

Scottie’s retirement plan account was deemed community property of their marital estate.

He was with the Chicago Bulls from 1987 to 1998, before returning briefly from 2003 to 2004.

The Blast reports the amount was to be dispensed to Larsa in a ‘cash lump sum’ and was to be paid ‘as soon as administratively possible following the approval of this order.’

It was signed by a judge on June 16, 2023.

The Blast also reports that the order appears to state Larsa is set to receive the full amount, no matter how much money is currently in the account.

‘To the extent, there are no assets in his account sufficient to satisfy the assignment benefit on the date a separate account is established for (Larsa), the order should be interpreted as an award of 100% of (Scottie’s) vested account balance,’ the order states.

It must be difficult having to provide spousal and child support as well as giving away half of your retirement to your ex-wife, only to see her in a relationship with your former teammate’s son whom she knew since he was a baby. Scottie must feel embarrassed by the situation.

Larsa stated that she is willing to Marcus’ baby if he asks.
