Conor McGregor Reveals Next Two Opponents He Want After Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor has claimed to make his UFC comeback in December and take on Michael Chandler in a much-anticipated fight. The Irishman was present ringside for Anthony Joshua vs Robert Helenius in the UK.

McGregor grabbed a lot of attention for his actions which involved him getting inside the ring to pour beer for Joshua and calling out KSI. That said, the UFC superstar also shed views on his MMA return since losing against Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 and UFC 264 consecutively.

While Michael Chandler would likely be the one to welcome back McGregor, the ‘Notorious’ has eyed two more names for his fighting future.

Conor McGregor said, “[Michael] Chandler next [in] December and then [Justin] Gaethje BMF, and then we will do Nate [Diaz] trilogy.”

Nate Diaz is already out of the UFC. He lost his pro-boxing debut against Jake Paul and has teased a potential return to MMA.

Meanwhile, Justin Gaethje will possibly challenge the winner of Islam Makhachev vs Charles Oliveira 2 for the undisputed lightweight title. In that case, Conor McGregor cannot afford to lose against Michael Chandler or it can be the end of his MMA journey.

Conor McGregor hasn’t won a fight since beating Donald Cerrone via KO at UFC 246 in January 2020. That win was his first since winning the UFC lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez in 2016. Hence, McGregor now needs to register a big win to resurrect his dominance.

Amidst so much going around, Conor McGregor has also desired to have another go inside the boing ring. So, we can expect a lot more of ‘Notorious’ in the fight game.
