Despite going the distance, Nate Diaz failed to win against Jake Paul in his pro-boxing debut.

‘The Problem Child’ looked better than Diaz inside the ring, pulling off more power punches throughout. Following a brief collision of 10 rounds, Jake Paul secured the win via unanimous decision.

A lot of it has to do with the fifth-round knockdown that put Jake Paul over Diaz. Unaware of Paul’s power, Diaz consumed a hefty punch and was put right on the canvas.

The UFC veteran, however, got back to is feet and traded shots with Paul. Not to forget, Nate Diaz also unloaded showboating in his unique style, thrilling everyone watching the contest.

Nevertheless, it wasn’t enough to pin a win over Jake Paul but a rematch under MMA rules is still valid between the two.

Prior to the fight, Jake Paul had vowed to meet Nate Diaz inside the octagon after they are done fighting in the squared circle.

It remains to be seen whether Jake Paul stands by his word.

The Fight Community Didn’t Seem Impressed with Jake Paul Beating Nate Diaz

Post-fight, Nate Diaz didn’t receive a pleasant welcome from the people present in the arena. Despite winning, fight fans downplayed ‘The Problem Child’ but Jake Paul seemed unbothered by his criticism.

He said, “He [Nate Diaz] is tough, he is real tough. That’s what he is known for. But tough in this sport doesn’t work. Boo if you are a virgin.”
