Jake Paul Outlines His Plans To Beat Canelo Alvarez In The Next 4 Years: “I Have a Size Advantage”

Jake Paul is optimistic about winning a potential boxing showdown against Canelo Alvarez in the next four years. Fresh off his win over Nate Diaz, Paul has begun calling out the Mexican boxing legend again.

Jake Paul had wanted to Canelo several times in the past. However, The Problem Child was humbled by Tommy Fury, who snatched away Paul’s unbeaten record.

On his first attempt to go against an experienced pro-boxer Tommy Fury, Jake Paul failed and returned to facing a MMA veteran in Nate Diaz in a boxing match.

Jake Paul couldn’t stop the UFC legend but won the fight via unanimous decision. Following the victory, Jake Paul sat with brother Logan Paul and addressed why he is confident about beating Canelo Alvarez.

‘The Problem Child’ said, “Three years ago when I was calling out Nate Diaz and all the big names, Anderson Silva. All these people. They said, ‘You don’t have the fight to call them out’. And then I manifested it, got the skill in the gym, and got above and beat them.”

“It’s just that I am repeating the playbook now. I am predicting in the four years, I am gonna get to his [Canelo’s] skill level and beat him. I have a weight advantage, a size advantage, a reach advantage. He is super skilled, I just went 10 rounds. Canelo can go 10 rounds, Comn”

That said, Canelo Alvarez has shown almost no interest in facing Jake Paul. A similar behavior that Conor McGregor has also shown toward Paul.

Jake Paul Is Still Far Away From Racing Canelo Alvarez

Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez is one of the greatest boxers of this era. He began his pro career at the age of 15 and is almost 18 years old in the sport.

Having fought umpteen legends like Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley, GGG, and others, Canelo holds a pro record of 59-2-2. He will face the undisputed champion Jermell Charlo next on September 30.

While Jake Paul is still boxing MMA fighters, it’s hard to picture him beating Canelo unless done in reality.
