Stephen Jackson is a good example of someone who sometimes has a good message but is a terrible messenger.
Always somewhere in the middle of his rants, he goes off the rails and says something ridiculous, and that is why he should never be taken seriously.
Jackson doesn’t know if he wants to be an ex-basketball player, gangbanger, podcaster, or civil rights leader.
Never forget this was a 40-year-old man checking in with kids on O-Block.
Jackson decided to speak out while trying to show support for Ice Cube’s Big 3.
“This is the only black-owned professional league. We need to come out and support it. I’ve been his [Ice Cube] since year one. He’ll tell you, I just wanna see him win. There’s no reason for the NBA not to support this league. It’s all ex-NBA players.
“I’m the face of the biggest civil rights movement ever – with the George Floy [incident]. I’m an NBA champion [and] played in the NBA. The NBA didn’t reach out to me for the “Black Lives Matter Movement” for social justice or equality.”

Jackson wasn’t the face of the Black Lives Movement.
He has a very high opinion of himself if he believes this to be true, but Jackson is known to say and do wild stuff.
Social media called him delusion for these thoughts.
Stephen Jackson walking around thinking he’s the MLK of our time is going to be stuck in my head all day 😂 https://t.co/3nwcsSPyoZ
