Kadarius Toney, a wide receiver with the Kansas City Chiefs, has little love for the New York Giants, his former team. On Sunday Night Football, Toney’s previous team lost to the Dallas Cowboys 40-0, and he then went on to insult the supporters of his former team on Instagram.
It should be remembered that Toney cancelled his X/Twitter account after the Chiefs’ disappointing performance on opening night. On his Instagram story, Toney just uttered the phrase “Na Don’t get quiet now” In the screenshot down below, you can see it.
There’s still time for Kadarius Toney for redemption
Toney requested that his Instagram followers leave him alone in a new story he posted. “I’m back off this S-t now… AGAIN… Leave me alone df but stay tuned,” Toney commented on the photo with a ‘Sorry We’re Closed’ sticker.
Toney has been contacting Giants fans in recent months to let them know how much happier he is in Kansas City. After his performance on Thursday, we’ll watch to see if his honeymoon period continues. Toney didn’t win or lose the game for the Chiefs alone, but if he had made some catches, Kansas City might currently be up 1-0.
However, the season is lengthy, and as long as Toney plays, he will have a chance to prove himself.
Patrick Mahomes has full confidence in Kadarius Toney
The pairing of Patrick Mahomes and Kadarius Toney, which was electrifying during the Super Bowl, flopped during the first game of the season at Arrowhead Stadium. Mahomes said of Toney
“Stuff’s not always going to go your way, obviously. He would’ve wanted to catch a few of those in the game,”
“But I have trust that he’s gonna be that guy that I go to in those crucial moments, and he’s gonna make the catch and win us some seasons like he did last year.
“So we’re gonna continue to work him in, get him more and more reps, and I’m sure those drops will kind of disappear.” “I think they know I’m going to keep firing it,” “So we’ll try to get it fixed this next week and correct it going into next game.”
