Skip Bayless Launches Passionate Pitch in Response to Reported Colin Kaepernick Jets Interest

Since Colin Kaepernick hasn’t had many opportunities to try to make a comeback, the discussion about his prospective return to the NFL has somewhat subsided. However, it seems the former 49ers quarterback has maintained his readiness and is still waiting for an opportunity even though he hasn’t played since the end of the 2016 NFL season.

However, the rumor has increased once again because it was first made public that Kaepernick himself admitted to NFL writer Jordan Schultz that his agency contacted the Jets after Aaron Rodgers’ injury.

Skip Bayless admiration for Kaepernick

Skip Bayless, host of FS1’s Undisputed, is one figure who looks to be publicly supporting Kaepernick getting another opportunity in the NFL. The outspoken media figure launched a defence of why he thinks Kaepernick is still playable.

After Rodgers’ injury, Bayless continued by saying he doesn’t think the Jets would give Kaepernick a chance, but he “absolutely” believes he can still play “right here, right now.”

According to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, it does seem that Bayless is right that the Jets are not looking to sign Kaepernick to fill their current need for quarterback depth.
