Even though the 2023 NFL season has only been going for four weeks, everyone is already eagerly anticipating the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Caleb Williams drama is at its height despite the fact that we don’t even know who will be selected first overall in the coming season. The most juicy rumors to date may be those regarding the USC standout.
A social media rumor claims that the current Heisman Trophy winner thinks playing another year at USC will pay off more financially than starting as a rookie quarterback in the NFL.
BREAKING: Caleb Williams says he can make more money returning to USC next season then as a rookie in the NFL and says he can pick what team he wants to go to because of that.😳
Caleb’s only 5 team he would play for are the #Cowboys, #Raiders, #Vikings, #Giants, and #49ers. 👀 pic.twitter.com/9TfNYBmrdl

The teams on that list are intriguing since each one seems to have a strong foundation, but there are still some doubts regarding who will start at quarterback. However, it’s unlikely that any of these teams will have the first overall pick in the 2018 draft, which is unfortunate for Williams.
Right now, it would seem that the Raiders and Vikings, both of which are currently sitting at 1-3, are the best bets. Due to their dismal performance during their 1-2 start, the Giants also seem to have made a significant step backwards this season.
On Monday Night Football tonight at home against the Seahawks, they will have a chance to right the ship. Just be prepared if Daniel Jones has another subpar performance in prime time that significantly fuels the Caleb Williams conversation in New York.
