Coach Deion Sanders Wants The NCAA To Do Something About His Players Getting Jewelry Stolen From Their Lockers At The Rose Bowl

The last few weeks of the season for the Colorado Buffaloes hasn’t gone as planned. They started off 3-0 but have lost 4 of the last 5 and they haven’t really been close games.

To make make matters worse, while they were on the field losing to UCLA this past weekend, their locker room was getting burglarized by someone.

According to coach Deion Sanders, some of his guys had a bunch of jewelry stolen from their lockers and he isn’t happy about it at all. While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Sanders addressed the matter discussing what had happened and says he wants the NCAA to step in.

“Our kids got robbed during the game last week, I think that’s a travesty. I would expect the NCAA to do something about that.”

“This is the Rose Bowl — they say ‘The Granddaddy of Them All,’ right? I’m sure Granddaddy has some money. Grandpa should have some money to give these kids.”

“I hope we can do something about that, NCAA. You do something about everything else. Do something about that.”

It wasn’t just the Buffaloes locker rooms that got their things stolen from them, it was also the lockers of UCLA. The Buffaloes will now come up with an itemized list of everything that was taken and hopefully get some type of recoupment. Or at the very least find out who stole their things.
