When Aaron Rodgers joked about the vaccine on “The Pat McAfee Show” on Tuesday, it looked as though he briefly broke ESPN.
As Rodgers was expressing regret to his hosts, Pat McAfee and AJ Hawk, for not dressing up for Halloween, the topic of the vaccine inadvertently came up.
When McAfee inquired about the outfit, he made suggestions such as a scientist, doctor, or vaccination. Rodgers asserted that it was a spike protein, though. Just as he was ready to comment on the vaccine, the feed abruptly stopped for no apparent reason. Rodgers said
“I had my costume on last night but I couldn’t wear it today,”

On social media, some fans accused The Worldwide Leader in Sports of purposefully stopping the broadcast. However, other viewers verified they could watch, indicating the problem may have been with a single supplier.
McAfee said
“Allegedly, we are being told now that when Aaron started talking about the vaccine, they decided to shut the show down,”
Since then, it has been established that only one cable provider had a disruption of the broadcast. Therefore, no, Rodgers wasn’t intentionally interrupted by ESPN because he was discussing the vaccine. In actuality, they were unrelated to the lost stream. Here’s the full episode below :
