Edgerrin James, a former player for the Indianapolis Colts, is going viral this week. The Hall of Fame rushing back was spotted driving around idly with a million bucks in his car and declaring that he was “Stripper Bowl ready.”

It turns out that the video actually dates from 2020, when Pierre “Pee” Thomas, who is a co-owner of the Quality Control Music label with headquarters in Atlanta, conducted his yearly stripper bowl in Miami.
When the video resurfaced, people were unaware of this, which prompted a number of remarks on social media that appeared to be recent:
I know someone that could use some of it 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/eufDjAbivU

The best illustration for RB value *is* an amount of money that appears to be a lot at quick glance but is actually significantly less than that because of inefficiency https://t.co/fAx2B9llrA

James played the most of his career for the Indianapolis Colts, where he set records for the team in terms of rushing yards (9,226) and rushing touchdowns (64).
Despite James leaving the team in free agency during the previous offseason, it was the Colts organization that gave him a Super Bowl ring in 2006 in recognition of his accomplishments and significance to the team.
In 2020, James—who played for the Arizona Cardinals for three seasons—was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He ran 61 times for 236 yards and a score during four postseason games as the starting running back for the Cardinals during their march to the Super Bowl.
James amassed 12,246 yards of rushes over his 11-year career, ranking 13th in NFL history.
