Rapper Lil Wayne seems to have switched from rap and is now a sports pundit dishing out advice to the Los Angeles Lakers on what they need to do to win a championship.
According to Wayne, if the Lakers are really serious about winning a championship, then they need to get rid of Anthony Davis.
Lil Wayne made these suggestions when he appeared on “Undisputed”.
According to Vlad;
Wayne argued that Davis needs to be more consistent and has shown a lack of resilience throughout his career. He suggested that the Lakers find another superstar and rely on LeBron James for leadership. However, the argument against this was that Davis is currently on a $65 million per year contract, making it difficult for other teams to acquire him.
The conversation then touched on the future of the Lakers and the potential for acquiring other young talents like Joel Embiid and Anthony Edwards. It was also mentioned that Rich Paul, LeBron’s agent, has a strong influence in the NBA and may play a role in the Lakers’ roster decisions.
The question is, are the Lakers ready to let Anthony Davis go? Is Davis the cause of the Lakers’ predicament?
