It appears that the franchise star Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars will be absent from Sunday’s crucial game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Star quarterback Trevor Lawrence is not expected to play on Sunday as he continues to heal from a concussion, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. During the Jaguars’ Sunday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Lawrence suffered a concussion.

The Jaguars will probably start seasoned backup C.J. Beathard in Lawrence’s place. In Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the latter had to step in for an injured Lawrence (high ankle sprain), and he completed nine out of ten ball attempts in the defeat.
