This season hasn’t been easy for one of the Cleveland Browns‘ top offensive threats.
David Njoku, a tight end with the Cleveland Browns, was burned on his face and arm earlier this year while igniting a fire pit at home. Later, he surprised everyone even further by posting an unprocessed image of his close-up facial injuries.
The football player has now made the funniest possible attack on the social media team of his own side.
For a Christmas post, Browns created cartoon versions of David Njoku, Joel Bitonio, Amari Cooper, Myles Garrett, and Denzel Ward. Njoku’s amazing response helped the video go viral.
In the drawing, Njoku is the Browns player who is standing closest to a glowing hearth.
Njoku tweeted, “Y’all did NOT have to put me by the fire thoooo.”

He participated in the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens just a few days after sustaining the injury, and despite the Browns’ succession of quarterbacks, he has continued to be an important offensive weapon. Njoku has 69 catches for 704 yards and five touchdowns this season.
