NFL Fans Furious With Cris Collinsworth For Endorsing Patrick Mahomes Following His Interception Against The Packers

Cris Collinsworth of NBC is often criticized for his unwavering admiration for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and for making light of himself in his analysis.

Even in the event of a Mahomes error, he manages to give him props for nothing at all. Sunday Night Football saw Green Bay Packers defensive back Keisean Nixon intercept Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes over the shoulder late in the fourth quarter.

Collinsworth complimented Mahomes for this action for an undisclosed reason:

Even though he made a mistake in speech, it just serves to highlight how highly he regards him and how his natural physical reaction compels him to do so.

Relating to the two-time NFL MVP and two-time Super Bowl victor, Collinsworth became viral back in September when he opened an SNF broadcast with the words, “I think America is about to find out how good he really is.”

Sunday Night Football saw the Kansas City Chiefs fall to the Green Bay Packers 27-19, with Mahomes and the offense having a terrible day. Mahomes completed 64% of his passes for a meager 210 yards and one touchdown.
