LSU is among the six schools that partnered with the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation before the 2023-24 season. Joining the University of Connecticut, the University of Southern California, the University of Oregon, Duke University, and the University of Kentucky, LSU honors the late 18-time NBA All-Star by participating in the “Mamba Program.” Notably, Reese, showing her admiration for Kobe Bryant, wore special edition Kobe Bryant and Gigi shoes throughout her campaign.
