Michael Jordan has had an incredible career in the game of love. At a restaurant in 1985, Michael Jordan met Juanita Vanoy, his ex-wife, just after he began his one-season tenure with the Chicago Bulls.
Over the ensuing years, their bond became stronger, and in 1988 Vanoy fell pregnant with their first child. September 1989 was the chosen month for the couple’s marriage.

In 2006, after 17 years of marriage, Michael and Vanoy announced their decision to call it quits and take a time away.
Jordan claimed ownership of their Chicago property, while Vanoy pocketed an astounding $168 million during their highly expensive divorce—one of the most expensive in sports history.
The NBA great was significantly impacted financially by the settlement with Juanita Vanoy.
Protecting the Assets: Yvette Prieto saga
Jordan made sure his possessions were safe before getting remarried.
He married Cuban-American model Yvette Prieto in 2013. But before the big day, the financial strategy was spelled out in a prenuptial agreement. As per the agreement, Prieto will get $1 million for every year that they are married, and if they stay together for more than ten years, that amount will increase to $5 million annually.

In 2008, Jordan noticed Prieto, a model of Cuban-American descent whose outstanding résumé included work with designer Alexander Wang, at a nightclub in Miami.
The following year, the couple quickly moved in together, and Jordan proposed over the Christmas season in 2011. The couple fell in love right away, starting to plan their wedding and saying “I do” in 2013.
The twin girls, Victoria and Ysabel, were born on February 9, 2014, bringing Jordan and Prieto to a family of four. The couple announced their pregnancy in November 2013 after first keeping the news of the twins a secret.
