Jimmy Butler‘s friend used X to share his opinions about the Miami Heat‘s current situation.
It’s no secret that the Heat have had difficulty winning lately. The team’s current losing skid of six games straight is the longest of the year. Additionally, as Miami did so again in 2016–17, it equals the record for the longest slump Miami has had. That year the Heat were not in the playoffs.
The results have not yet been released, even though the roster appeared to be coming together. Since acquiring Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets, Miami is winless.

Even though Butler and Jaime Jaquez Jr. have recovered from their injuries, the club hasn’t won since January 15.
Butler’s pal replied to several postings on X on Heat-related topics following the team’s Saturday 125-109 loss to the New York Knicks. Here are a selection of his remarks.
I think the problem is very obvious. It will never get fixed or addressed so it is what it is at this point.

Wouldn’t even make post season. I’m his friend and even I can accept and say that this team has over achieved like crazy the last 4 years. Not even I expected what has happened. Yet it was never enough to go all in.

I’m just curious if yall even watch the games?? THE PLAYS AND SETS AREN’T RAN FOR HIM!!!!! Is it not obvious?? Today they had no choice. Against Boston he was just sitting in the corner. Coaches try to get someone else going so bad that it messes up the whole team. https://t.co/9wsVv7uPVv

He talks about a variety of subjects, such as coaching, decisions made in the front office, and Butler’s role in Miami’s offense. There is some validity to some of his remarks.
Let’s start with the great player from Miami: on Saturday, Butler led the Heat in scoring. But up until then, he had only tried ten or eleven shots in each of the previous five games that Miami was losing. Not at all the shot volume you would anticipate from him.
