The Cleveland Browns are busy putting the house back in order. Kevin Stefanski is making sure he does it clean.
Following their playoff defeat to the Houston Texans, the Browns are apparently going to make some significant changes to their offensive coaching staff. By letting go of offensive staff members, the Browns have begun their offensive revamp. According to Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, they have let go of tight ends coach T.C. McCartney, running backs coach Stump Mitchell, and offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt.
Breaking Cont: I’m told #Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski told coaches Alex Van Pelt, Stump Mitchell & T.C. McCartney the news that they were relieved of their duties on Tuesday actually. Stefanski noted we wants to change course, per source.

Stefanski has had these three assistants since he joined the Browns in 2020. The Browns were 12th in rushing, 19th in passing, and 16th overall in offensive efficiency.
Despite the Browns needing to start four different starting quarterbacks for the first time ever, Stefanski, a strong contender for NFL Coach of the Year, guided the team to an 11-6 record and a wild card berth in the playoffs.
As Deshaun Watson was out for the entire season following surgery to replace a fractured glenoid bone in his throwing shoulder, Joe Flacco guided the Browns to a 4-0 season and a postseason matchup with the Wild Card.
He threw two pick-sixes that put the game out of reach for a squad that had thrashed the Texans in the regular season, marking his first poor performance at the wrong time.
