When calling the Sunday Night Football game between the Lions and Rams, Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth quickly became agitated by the home crowd.
In the third quarter of the Los Angeles Rams’ Wild Card game against the Detroit Lions, quarterback Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams was struck hard. His head appeared to bounce off the turf in the replay, and it seemed like he was rendered unconscious for a little period of time before waking up.
Cris Collinsworth refrained from commenting about Matthew Stafford’s injuries in his remarks, which caused a great deal of outrage among supporters.

Love how Collinsworth wouldn't speculate about why Stafford's eyeballs were looking at his brain stem.

“Football has gotten complicated”-Collinsorth, as the NFL tried to do the right thing by Stafford & make sure his health is prioritized. Collinsworth = 🤡

You hear Collinsworth not even wanna say if he thought Stafford was fine. His eyes went back and stayed stuck. That’s a complete joke that he’s back in the game.

The way Chris Collinsworth masterfully danced around stating his internal monologue of "Stafford has a concussion" . He almost let it slip

Replays clearly showed Stafford getting his arm/shoulder stepped on and the QB went to the sideline wincing in pain while tending to his right shoulder but Collinsworth thinks it was a head injury. He gets paid $millions to be clueless. Amazing.

The Lions’ pass rushers repeatedly tackled the two-time Pro Bowler, who looked to be in excruciating pain. He left the field and went in the direction of the blue medical tent. Stafford went back out onto the field following his treatment in the blue tent.
It doesn’t seem like he was ever examined for signs of a concussion.
Head coach Sean McVay first said he wasn’t sure if the quarterback was assessed for a concussion after the Rams were eliminated from the postseason. After conversing with a Rams staff member, he verified that Stafford underwent a concussion test and was cleared to play again.
The head coach additionally verified that the signal-caller who won the Super Bowl also suffered rib injuries during the game. Ultimately, against the team that traded him, Jared Goff completed a ball for a victory-sealing first down and completed a touchdown pass. On Sunday night, the Detroit Lions defeated Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams 24-23 to win a postseason game for the first time in thirty-two years.
