After an On-Field Assault Case, the NFL Announces Its Decision on Davante Adams

The NFL has officially decided, sixteen months after the infamous cameraman-shoving incident following a 2022 road game against the Kansas City Chiefs, if Davante Adams would receive any penalty.

In Week 5 of 2022, following a depressing Monday night loss to the Chiefs, cameras captured a displeased Adams shoving a cameraman out of his way as he made his way to the Raiders’ locker room:

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that the NFL has chosen not to penalize Adams for the incident. Pelissero reports that Adams’ misdemeanor assault charges were dropped last year, closing the case.

After the game, Adams apologized to the cameraman on Twitter, stating that he “felt horrible immediately.”
