Micah Parsons, the star of the Dallas Cowboys, is once again engulfed in a social media maelstrom and feels compelled to label his detractors as “delusional” for misinterpreting his message.
At its worst, social media may be a hotbed of hatred, but it can also contain false information a lot of the time.
Following the Cowboys’ shocking playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Cowboys star made his next blunder. Parsons described that as “embarrassing” and “sad.” However, he added that he feels “completely at peace” with the work he put into the game. He was eventually called out on Twitter, where at least one critic misinterpreted everything and assumed he was placing the blame on his teammates.
Micah Parsons angry retort to his critics
Dov Kleiman said “Wild: Cowboys Micah Parsons seemingly implies the blame should be put on his teammates for their loss against the Packers,”.
This didn’t go down well with Micah who went ahead with his rant on social media saying :
“Lol that’s what you took? You are delusional!!” “If I wanted to blame a particular person I would said that! Like I stated we lost as a team but I do not lose sleep saying I wish I gave more effort on a play! I gave everything I had! … The narrative the game is dictated by 1 or 3 players is so overrated !! Everyones play is dictated on everyone doing their job! So please stfu!”
Once yall realize the game of football takes all 48 players willing to put the team before themselves and focus actually on winning!! The narrative the game is dictated by 1 or 3 players is so overrated !! Everyones play is dictated on everyone doing their job! So please stfu!

Parsons is correct when he says that he wasn’t trying to blame teammates; in fact, he once said in his podcast that Dallas was outplayed in every aspect, implying that everyone was to blame.

This information facilitates both the media’s role as a conduit for the goal and the fans’ understanding of what is happening. However, swimming away from “the cesspool of hate” that is social media and giving up on returning time and time again is one method to avoid it.
