Paul George discussed whether the Clippers should make any changes. With respect to the trade deadline, the LA Clippers find themselves in an extremely intriguing predicament. They most certainly don’t need to, but going after a power forward could be advantageous for the club. However, Paul George concurs that their current chemistry is flawless.
Paul George was questioned about if the Clippers needed to make any moves following their Wednesday night game against the Pelicans. While Kawhi Leonard did suggest wanting a power forward, his response was a little different. George said,
“We’re honestly not looking to make any moves,” “I don’t think that we are looking in this locker room thinking, ‘Where can we get better?’ We know we have enough to win right now. And so I don’t think anyone is nervous or worried about their position and their spot here. I think we’re in a good place with a great locker room.”
Paul George doesn’t expect the Clippers to make any trades.

In the event that the Clippers made a trade deadline move, it was probably to acquire a power forward with a little bit more size. However, since Amir Coffey has emerged, their bench rotation has been excellent, so it’s difficult to determine who should lose playing time. Additionally, it would be a transfer made mostly for depth rather than someone who would necessarily be featured in crucial minutes.
The trade deadline is drawing near, and it will be interesting to see what actual trades the Clippers make.
