Peyton Manning tells Tom Brady he can’t help him
The most successful quarterback in Tampa Bay’s history is stepping into a new career and feels compelled to connect with those who could assist him make his television broadcasting debut this upcoming season.
Peyton Manning, an NFL legend, spoke to The Athletic:
“He’s reached out to me for advice,” “I said, ‘Tom, I watch football from my neighbor’s garage on Monday nights. I’m not sure I’m worthy of being called for advice for what you’re about to do.’”
Including advertisements, Saturday Night Live appearances, and co-hosting the ManningCast on ESPN during Monday Night Football alongside his brother, retired New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, Manning has made multiple successful forays into the television industry.
Though ManningCast is undoubtedly a television show, it is produced in a far less formal manner than FOX Sports’ custom of calling games during one of its regular broadcasts.
