As one of the most eagerly awaited talents in sports right now, Caitlin Clark‘s first day of training with the Indiana Fever naturally went viral on the internet, with fans clamoring to know, “Is she ready for the WNBA?”
After failing to win the NCAA national championship, Clark is anxious to help the Fever become future WNBA champions, and as the overall first pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, he is under tremendous pressure to step up and produce from the start.
In the video that has been made public, Clark and highly regarded talent Aliyah Boston are shown in a three-woman weave on the first day of what is initially believed to be a quick introduction at a training camp that moves slowly.
However, the fact that she appears at ease right away is encouraging since it suggests that she may be able to use her skills from the Iowa Hawkeyes to succeed as the starting point guard for the Fever.
When is the start of the WNBA season?
After being selected as the finest prospect in the 2024 class, which also included Kamilla Cardoso, Cameron Brink, and Angel Reese, Clark will be ecstatic to play her first game as a professional.
Reese and Clark will even face off during the preseason when the Indiana Fever visit the Dallas Wings at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas on Friday, May 3, to kick off the season.
However, Clark’s season will really begin on Tuesday, May 14 when she plays the Connecticut Sun at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The game will be shown live on ESPN2 and tip off at 19:30 ET (16:30 PT).
Since 36 of the 40 games in the Fever will be televised or made available for streaming online, Clark will likely be a regular on TV.
